The report of Sharifbek Hasanov, Director of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, was heard, and the activities of 111 enterprises in the sector, including 15 state, 50 PPP, 5 clusters and 41 alternative enterprises, were analyzed. In accordance with the "Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy, the tasks of increasing the production of alternative energy from waste by 35% and reducing landfills by 50% were considered. In order to increase the satisfaction of the population, instructions were given to comply with waste collection schedules, strengthen the work of CHall centers and online platforms, and eliminate problem areas with the "neighborhood seven". 12 new preferences were introduced in the sector and the term of 12 existing preferences was extended. It was also noted the work done, 47 landfills were recultivated and closed, and 37 were equipped with electronic scales and surveillance cameras. An important point is that from January 1, 2026, payments will be collected online only depending on the volume of services provided, and funds will be distributed through the Agency's account based on KPI. At the meeting, Aziz Abduhakimov attached special importance to the issues of revising the tariff policy, introducing separate tariffs for markets and catering facilities, extending benefits until 2031, and organizing a "green corridor" for fuel supply, and relevant tasks were set for those responsible. Due to the integration of the debt collection system into electricity, it was decided to transfer payments completely online and conclude public offer agreements with legal entities. A working group headed by Sharifbek Hasanov, Director of the Waste Management Agency, was appointed to analyze the activities of sanitary cleaning enterprises in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Kashkadarya and Samarkand regions by April 2026, and organize house-to-house outreach.
