A 20-Year-Old Student in India Spent Months Cleaning a River with His Bare Hands
Surendra Singh Chaudhary, a resident of Biaora town in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, India, is widely known on social media as “Bittu Tabahi.” A Bachelor of Science (BSc) student, he launched an initiative to clean the Ajnar River, which flows through his town and had become heavily polluted with waste.
