The private coal mine Appartak 3 in Angren city, Tashkent region, is posing a serious threat to the health and ecological balance of the population. According to local residents, due to the lack of regular watering of the quarry roads, a large amount of dust is being released into the air, making it difficult for citizens to breathe clean air.
Dust particles can remain in the air for a long time, negatively affecting not only the respiratory tract, but also the cardiovascular system. Currently, in quarry operations, special equipment is required to spray water on roads to suppress dust, but in practice this requirement is not being met.
This situation is contrary to the requirements of ecological safety and is a violation of laws and regulations on environmental protection. Urgent measures must be taken by the responsible authorities to preserve the natural environment and protect the health of the population.
Residents hope to solve the problem by raising awareness of the problem, strengthening environmental control, and involving relevant government organizations.
