The footage shows Saidjon Khizyrov, the deputy khokim of Buvayda district for construction, obstructing the inspector's efforts to stop the felling of trees.
In the Buwayda district, an environmental inspector was beaten by a "zamhokim." At a time when trees are becoming our lifesavers, such zamhokim must be held strictly accountable.

The deputy and law enforcement officials were also depicted beating the inspector and then forcibly removing him from the area.
The Fergana Regional Ecology Department responded to the incident, but did not say anything about the pressure.
