Animal cruelty case detected in Yangiyul

The Mehr va Aqibat Animal Protection Society reported that a citizen in the city of Yangiyul, Tashkent region, killed his dog for meat.

The "Ecolog" public association conducted an urgent investigation into this case. According to the organization's director, Nargis Kasimova, as a result of the investigation, it was determined that this person is MAG, born on January 6, 1996. He lives in the city of Yangiyul.

According to available information, the citizen has been carrying out such actions on a regular basis. Currently, the "Ecolog" public association is preparing an application in accordance with the relevant procedure for legal action against this person.

‼️ This person has been systematically killing dogs, including his own, in his private home and eating their meat. Animals that he trusted, lived with, and did not expect betrayal. In addition, he has also slaughtered the puppies born from these dogs.

When volunteers and animal rights activists arrived at the scene, along with local police, his mother and sister were at home. They were deeply shocked by what was happening. The mother refused to believe that her son could do such a thing. Even after being shown the video footage, she continued to deny it.

Officials once again remind that cruelty to animals or causing their death is punishable under the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition to fines, such cases are also subject to punishments such as restriction of freedom.
